Contemporary cuisine. Sicilian identity.

Our identity
is on the plate.

In Mascali, on the slopes of Mount Etna, Nero Vite brings contemporary cuisine and wine into conversation through Etna Food Experience.

Our menu speaks through distinctive ingredients: Pantelleria capers, Vastedda del Belice cheese and Modica chocolate. Recognisable flavours meet Kamado embers, low-temperature cooking and the craft of plating.

Follow one of our three tasting menus or create your own à la carte dinner. The common thread is Sicily, interpreted through food and wine pairings.

Sicily is recognisable.
The rest is yours to discover.

A familiar ingredient can tell a new story. Our cuisine takes shape in this encounter between memory and curiosity.

Adding truffle as a finishing touch01 / Ingredients

Roots you can taste.

Pantelleria capers, Vastedda del Belice cheese, Modica chocolate: geography becomes flavour. Sicilian ingredients give character to combinations such as veal and Vastedda, rabbit and chocolate, sheep’s ricotta and strawberries.

Preparing a dish in a pan02 / Technique

Fire leaves its mark.

Kamado embers meet squid and pork pluma; low-temperature cooking prepares meat for the fire. Different techniques, one intention: to build texture, intensity and a balance you can taste from the first bite.

Precision in finishing a dish03 / Contrast

Details change everything.

Candied lemon alongside sea urchin, fermented garlic with aubergine, chestnut honey and orange with mackerel. Acidity, sweetness and savoury notes seek each other out: every combination invites another taste.

The vine in the glass

Wine is more than
a detail.

Carricante, Nerello Mascalese, still wines and traditional-method sparkling wines. The menu’s pairings accompany the three tasting journeys, with a different selection for sea, land and vegetarian dishes.

The chef’s work

From ingredient
to gesture.

A finishing touch, a cooking technique, a contrast. The cuisine takes shape through specific choices: a citrus note alongside seafood, Modica chocolate in rabbit jus, embers that give fennel its character.

This is where the concept becomes an experience: not only in the names of the journeys, but in what arrives at the table.
